This could be the final installment in our series of 80 degree days, the National Weather Service suggests. After the current batch of the unstable atmosphere dissipates after a Wednesday afternoon and evening stiff breeze, things should not be so hot and humid. It would be our third longest stretch of 80 degrees, surpassed only by 1983 (29 days) and 1949 (32 days).

Until then, we can expect conditions like a sticky Sunday, with sunny periods and times when the big black clouds boil up, scaring the cats and dogs with thunder and wet us with the rain.High should be around 80, with a little tonight in the upper 60s. Wednesday's temperatures could top out just below 80.

Forecasters say that Wednesday night and Thursday should give us our first taste of something that feels a bit like falling. After low could dip into the 50s and low humidity higher on Thursday afternoon, should make up in the upper 70's seem colder than it is.

Friday is expected to bring temperatures of 80 degrees under sunny skies, but it is not supposed to stay through the weekend. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to return Saturday and Sunday.

Kenmore Series 80 Washer won't spin but will drain - Appliance ...

My Kenmore washer Series 80 (bought in 2003) will not run - what is going on an intermittent basis, perhaps once a month. When I go to empty the dishwasher, I find it all sopping wet clothes. The pump runs during the spin cycle, though, because I can see and hear the water pumping out. I can get it to run again if I completely drain the washer. After one or two tests, it will usually begin to turn, then I can load the wet clothes back on, start the spin cycle, and it will work. Any ideas on what may be the cause? Thank you!
