Adder, experts in connectivity solutions have released two versions of their new double Access Module. The two variants of dual-port CATx module is very compact devices that allow you to share one computer between two sets of devices. The variant-CATx USB-DA is not equipped with audio or serial ports but is otherwise identical to the CATx-USBA-DA.Connections to the host computer communication module connects to various ports on your computer, then connect via CAT 5, 5e or 6 cables, up to 300m length AdderView CATx KVM switches and / Adder Extension or receivers (ie AdderLink X2 Silver, X200 or X100), video displays, keyboard, mouse and speakers are connected to remote devices. The transmission module does not require an AC adapter as it draws all its power from the host computer. Therefore, the USB cable must always be connected to a USB port on the computer that is capable of delivering up to 500 mA.Resolutions and cable lengths Maximum resolutions achievable are: • 1600 x 1200 x 60 Hz and 200 meters • 1280 x 1024 x 60 Hz at 300m.
